Mattie + Alex at Knoll Crest Gardens
Mattie and Alex’s wedding at Knoll Crest Gardens was warm, glowing, and completely them. It was an unseasonably warm day, but the sunset made it all worth it. Golden light poured across the gardens and gave everything that soft, magical feel that only a late summer evening can deliver.
The entire design was built around a celestial vision. It all started when Mattie found the most incredible bridal cape, covered in sparkling suns and stars. From there, the theme grew into a full tarot and celestial design with rich blues, glowing gold accents, and details that felt mystical but still elegant. The decor felt layered and intentional, without ever going over the top.
One of the most creative touches was the guestbook. Instead of a traditional book, guests built little Lego minifig versions of themselves and signed their names. It was playful, personal, and such a hit. With warm weather, intricate decor, and so many unique elements, day-of coordination helped keep everything running smoothly so Mattie and Alex could fully soak in that unforgettable sunset and celebrate under the stars.
