Ella + Mason at Redwood Observation Deck

Ella and Mason brought all their people from Texas to the Pacific Northwest for a wedding surrounded by redwoods, and the Redwood Observation Deck at Hoyt Arboretum was the perfect spot. With no one local to Portland, they needed a little extra support navigating permits, logistics, and timing, and we were so happy to step in as their Portland day-of coordinator to make it seamless.

We worked with Solabee Flowers for their bouquet and florals and picked everything up on the way to the ceremony, keeping things simple and efficient. The setting did the rest. Towering redwoods, soft forest light, and a quiet, intimate ceremony with their closest family. We even jumped in as the DJ with a trusty Bluetooth speaker to cue the music and keep things flowing.

After they said their vows, the entire group headed to dinner at Jake’s Grill, turning the day into a relaxed and joyful celebration with great food and even better company. For destination couples planning a Portland forest wedding, having local coordination makes all the difference. Ella and Mason’s redwood ceremony was intimate, beautiful, and exactly what they envisioned.
