Hanna + Owen at the Benson Hotel

Hanna and Owen’s wedding at The Benson Hotel was everything you want from a Portland winter wedding. It was one of those rare bright, clear December days, perfectly timed between Christmas and New Year’s, and the whole city felt calm and festive at the same time. The Benson already has that timeless feel with its dark wood, chandeliers, and gold details, but this one felt even more special knowing the venue is part of Hanna’s family history.

As the day moved into evening, the space really came to life. Candlelight, warm lighting, and that rich interior created the exact romantic, moody winter atmosphere Hanna had envisioned. The ceremony took place as the daylight faded, and the reception carried that cozy, glowing energy all the way through the night. These two were so much fun to be around, and you could feel that energy in every part of the celebration.

Once the dancing started, DJ Casey Kay did what he always does and kept the party going strong. The dance floor stayed packed, the energy stayed high, and it felt like the perfect way to close out the year. With a venue like The Benson and a full winter wedding timeline to manage, day-of coordination helped everything run smoothly so Hanna and Owen could fully enjoy their celebration. A classic Portland wedding with so much heart and just the right amount of sparkle.
