Mimi and Victor’s wedding at Maple Leaf Events Venue was packed with personal touches, bold choices, and so much fun. Mimi works at a bakery in Portland and brought the goods—fresh pretzels for cocktail hour that were still warm when guests arrived. She also made the cake herself, and it was just as delicious as it was beautiful.
They incorporated the Kagami Biraki ceremony, a traditional sake barrel breaking that symbolizes good fortune and harmony. It was such a powerful moment to witness, and the sake was shared with guests throughout the reception. One of the biggest hits of the night was the wedding piñata, which had the whole crowd cheering.
As the party kept going, late-night ramen hit the spot and kept everyone fueled for more dancing. With so many unique elements and high-energy transitions, day-of coordination kept everything on track and stress-free so Mimi and Victor could enjoy every incredible moment.
