Denise + Eddie at Blockhouse
Denise and Eddie’s wedding at Blockhouse was full of heart, beauty, and so many unforgettable moments! They brought all their people to Portland for a destination wedding, and the city showed up in the best way. The space was filled with soft greenery from Pomarius Nursery, and a meaningful memorial table welcomed guests with a quiet, beautiful moment of reflection.
They didn’t do a first look, so the first time they saw each other was when Denise walked down the aisle to “Ojos del Sol” by Y La Bamba—an absolutely stunning and emotional moment. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! One of the most moving parts of the ceremony was the wedding lasso ritual, where a beaded lasso with a crucifix was placed over both of them as they prayed together. It was a powerful symbol of unity and faith.
Songbird Floristry created the most dreamy floral design, including a jaw-dropping floral cloud above the arch that pulled everything together in the most magical way! With everyone flying in for the day, day-of coordination was a must! We made sure every moving piece came together so Denise and Eddie could just focus on being with the people they love. A beautiful venue, a deeply personal ceremony, and a celebration full of joy—this is what it’s all about!
